Tanmay participates in various extra curricular Activities


During last months of 2008 Tanmay participated in inter/intraschool competitions/events/games as:


  • Interschool on-sopt Pot Painting Competition held in MVN Faridabad: Secured First Position

  • Inter House Poster Making Competition: Made Poster on Anti Smoking and Secured First Position

  • Inter House Doha Competition: Secured second Position

  • Inter House Badminton Championship: Secured Third Position

  • Interschool Best from the waste held in MVN Faridabad

Tanmay presented a portrait of Pandit Nehru on the occassion of Children's Day


14th Nov 2008, On the occassion of Children's Day, Tanmay Singh student of V-E presented a self made portrait of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru presented to his caring and loving Principal Mrs. Neelam Gandhi. She blessed him for created such a nice portrait. She was so much impressed that she has hanged this portrait in her office. May God bless Tanmay for doing wonders in such a tender age.
This artwork has been got attention and appreciations from no. of fellow senior artists of www.fineartamerica.com. Within a short span of one and half months over 70 visitors from around the world has visited this piece of Art. This Art work along with few other Art works of tanmay have been selected and displayed in various Artshows of www.artshowforkids.com also.

Archit participates in National level Inter School Quiz at Bokaro
















Archit was selected for senior group to participate in National Level Quiz 2008 at Bokaro. The quiz was sponsored by India Today and SAIL and DPS Bokaro. He alongwith his Principal Ma'am and Ms. Madan and other participants, Mr. Saurav Pandey, Mr. Kanhaiya Prabhakar and Mr. Needhish Bhardwaj departed on 18th December, 2008. They arrived at Bokaro on early morning of 20th December. It was matter of great proud for not only the parents of these young geniouses but for their school that DAV was the third school to enter Semi Final rounds for both Junior and Senior Groups. They cleared all the three rounds required to reach Semis. DAV Sector-37 secured second position in North Zone. After the Quiz the DAV Team visited the famous Jagannath Temple.

Tanmay represents DAV to visit Theme based Painting Competition in National Book Trust of India


Tanmay and Vipul Saini visited NBT along with Ms. Swarnlata, Librarian, DAV Sector-37 Faridabad. Here they have to draw 8 pictures based on a story given by NBT. Their drawings were awsome and appreciated by the organisers. Ms. Neelam Gandhi, Principal was very impressed and has sent their Art works to publish in DAV Newsletter.

Archit Celebrates his Birthday












Faridabad, 21st July 2008: Archit celebrated his birthday on 21st July at his home. Mr. Rajesndra Singh, Mr. Satya Prakash Singh, Mr. Piyush Ranjan, Mr. Nirmal Dubey, Mrs. Jha were present on the occassion to bless him.

Faridabad, 21st July 2008: Archit celebrated his birthday at his home at a small gathering of his parents, his friends, relatives. Mr. Rajendra Singh, Mr. Satya Prakash Singh, Mr. Piyush Ranjan, Mr. Ashutosh Kasera, Mr. Nirmal Dubey, Mrs. Jha were present alongwith their family members at the function. Archit decorated the Birthday Room with the help of his uncle Mr. Satya Prakash Singh and Tanmay. Archit lightened the Musical Candle and cut the cake. All the guests blessed Archit for the success in studies. The function concluded after dinner. The photography was done by his Piyush uncle and Ashutosh uncle by their Olympus Camera recently bought.
